About Us

Overcast is a mixed barbershop quartet from the Gold Coast, made up of two sets of siblings. We've all been singing for most of our lives and came together as a youth quartet in 2021. We sing in the barbershop style, drawing on jazz, choral, and doo-wop influences among others.

Since forming, we've been three-time Australian Youth Quartet champions, and recently travelled to Denver to compete at the BHS International NextGen Varsity Quartet contest. In Denver, we watched some of the best quartets and choruses in the world and connected with barbershoppers from all over. We had an awesome time and are taking some fresh inspiration with us to this year's BHA National Festival in Canberra.
